Focus on Friis & Moltke: Architect-designed furniture classics in the spotlight

Anno Studio and Bernstorffsminde highlight Friis & Moltke Architects' design heritage at Trend & Traditions on 2 May.

Through a collaboration driven by a shared passion for Friis & Moltke's work, Anno Studio and Bernstorffsminde explore synergy by bringing together two iconic furniture series in a joint exhibition. This synergy highlights Friis & Moltke's pioneering furniture design and its relevance today. The partnership highlights the reintroduction of design masterpieces with a fresh look at sustainability and innovation.

Founded in 2021, Anno Studio is deeply committed to the tradition and future of Danish furniture design. With a mission to relaunch and revitalize Danish design icons, Anno Studio reinvents the Series 600 from Friis & Moltke Architects. This first re-launch unites sustainability with modern aesthetics, bringing classic design up to today's standards and emphasizing the importance of circular economy.

Bernstorffsminde, known for its unrivalled craftsmanship, will expand its repertoire in 2022 with its own furniture collection that includes Friis & Moltke System 2100. This step underlines Bernstorffsminde's commitment to high quality and sustainability in furniture design. The collaboration at the T&T exhibition sheds light on Friis & Moltke, and offers a fresh perspective on renewing existing design classics.

The Trends & Traditions exhibition is a unique opportunity to explore the integration of timeless design with modern sustainability practices. Visitors are invited to experience how design classics can continue to inspire and shape our aesthetic surroundings, now and in the future.
